Infotsav 2011

Infotsav, the largest techno management fest of central India, is organized by students of ABV-
IIITM Gwalior. With the immense success in previous years with a large number of participation
from all over the nation, this year is going to be some different.This year Infotsav will be
organized from 10th-12th November 2011. Infotsav’11 is aimed at nurturing novelty and thus this
time it is destined to organize one of the best Open software exhibitions in the country through
the event “La Ingenious”.

First time in central India any techno management fest will conduct Young India
Entrepreneurs. YIE is the platform for the dreamers of India to come together, to connect
- with fellow entrepreneurs, create your dream organization, collaborate to help and learn, to
share success stories and how they could overcome major challenges. Guest lectures by Mr.
Yashwant Kanetkar , author of “Let us C” , Prof. H.C Verma, IIT K have already graced
our event with their experience and knowledge. This time more of the same will be there
enlightening us with their presence. These are only a few mentions but much more exists at the
real event time.

This robotics events being introduced last year with state of the art workshops which include
highly specialized robotics workshops by Robosapiens and Robotech Labs, Ethical
hacking workshop by eminent Sunil Vaghela, and for the first time in Gwalior region a Game
designing and development workshop conducted by the best trainers from the industry has
given new dimension to technical events. The bigger and better Robofiesta, this time will
enthrall the participants showcasing some of the best machines the country has got.

Ethical Hacking has never been as ethical as it can be at “Akraman” and the online programming
contest “Code Weavers” will make you debug your code with a worst case complexity of O
(LOC). “Web Mania” will put to test the spider like creativity skills of the designer and “Witch
Hunt” will make you struggle through debugging the programs. If taking quizzes is your passion
then try out “Enigma” that will leave you puzzled with every question you answer, right or
wrong.

The constellation of management events comprise of “Pinnacle”- business plan
competition, “Acumen”-case study contest, “Brouhaha”- you don’t need to be Prahlad Kakkad
or Prasoon Joshi to battle this but for “ Tycoon” if you follow any manager like Indira Nooyi or
Ratan Tata it is not surprising but remember that survival of fittest is based on evolution and not
copying.

Simulation events now get bigger and better and tougher, need to find jobs just log into” Job
Bureau” and make money through forex.

Sameeksha the paper presentation contest is one of the most coveted events in the

series. “Chakravyuh” and “Gamiacs” will make your skills spur out to levels of competition not
faced before.

Infotsav is not just another tech-fest but a coalescence of skills and knowledge. The doors
of Infotsav are now open for all those who wish to enter this royal domain of intellectual
excellence. Infotsav ’11 will commence from 10th November and continue for 3 long days giving
great opportunities to be a part of this event and win prizes up to Rs. 5 lacs.
