TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY

The various process that involves the conversion of raw fiber to woven cloth fall within
the field of textile technology. spinning, weaving, printing, dyeing etc. are various stages of textile production. Textile technology is the specialized field which has over the years invited large scale investment and requires considerable labour force.

Employment opportunities exist in R&D labs, consulting firms, textile mills etc .the aspirant can find the suitable careers in production, operation, quality control, packaging etc. in the textile industry.
Eligibility:
Admission to IIT's is through the joint entrance exam (IITJEE).The university department of chemical technology, university of Bombay offers selection, on the basis of performance at the 10+2 level. in the most other institutions, the +2 level performance is considered along with the performance in the entrance exam. conducted by the respective university.
